The Pioneer Arts Center of Easthampton (P.A.C.E.) is a community performance space located in Easthampton, Massachusetts with the mission of promoting community and self-expression through the arts. P.A.C.E. opened its doors at its 41 Union Street location on September 3, 2002. It is organized as a Massachusetts non-profit corporation under article 501c3 of the tax code and is governed by an uncompensated board of directors. The organization was founded by husband and wife team David and Sonia Fried Oppenheim who also function as the unpaid Executive and Managing directors. David Oppenheim was found guilty of five counts of child rape in February 2012, in Northampton Superior Court.〔() Contrada, Fred "Producer charged with statutory rape." Retrieved June 8, 2010.〕 He was sentenced to 5–7 years in State Prison followed by 5 years probation with GPS monitoring following his sentence in March 2012. () P.A.C.E. produces concerts featuring professional local and national performers, as well as open mic nights for amateur performers. A variety of shows are produced at P.A.C.E. such as music, comedy, children's shows, and community theater productions. PACE also provides music and theater classes for teens and adults.
